Lone Star has contracted to provide hazardous material response to the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). We have worked with TXDOT for more than 15 years, serving the major highway corridors across East Texas. We are fully equipped to handle spills involving oil, diesel fuel, gasoline and other hazardous or non-hazardous fluids.
Our highly trained team, which includes hazmat specialists and incident commanders, works closely with local first responders including fire fighters, police and paramedics to provide critical support.
Through our network of strategically located offices anchored by a 24/7 Response Center, Lone Star offers rapid deployment, delivering a response time that is typically twice as fast as that of other spill response companies.
Our spill response capabilities include product transfer for situations in which fluid must be moved from a compromised vessel to another vessel. We also provide environmental response to utility companies during inclement weather and site failures.
Beyond emergency response, Lone Star Hazmat Response offers complete environmental remediation services. Our crews have extensive experience and expertise in soil disposal management. We work with industrial and other businesses to perform an environmental assessment of the site. We then remove contaminated soil (in layers from three inches up to several feet) and then remediate or replace the soil as needed.
Our comprehensive approach, which combines highly skilled personnel, dedicated equipment and proven processes, ensures thorough and effective performance through all phases of the waste cleanup project, no matter its complexity. It also provides a more cost-effective solution for our customers, while strictly adhering to safety considerations and environmental regulations.
When the unfortunate event of an oil/gas/salt water release happens, Lone Star is ready to respond. With multiple offices within the footprint of many of the oil & gas plays across Texas, Louisiana, & Oklahoma, LSR can be on the scene when precious minutes count.
With years of in house knowledge and experience dealing with the Railroad Commission of Texas, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and many other regulator’s, LSR not only acts as a responder to the spill event, but as an advocate for your company.
We will maintain a face to face relationship on your behalf with the regulators in an effort to balance the requirements of government agencies with that of your company’s bottom line.
Our response and remediation capabilities are strengthened by our full range of emergency response vehicles and equipment, which allows us to work effectively and safely in any type of emergency spill response situation.
